You can rent a car in all the major cities in Morocco. Instead of taking the motorway from Tangiers to Marrakesh, you can also take the R-301 road along the coast between El-Jadida and Essaouira; it has some spectacular views and is well recommended.
There's another option - the "grand taxi"; an unforgettable experience! This is a combination of a taxi and a small bus. Groups of travelers share fares and exchange stories and adventures.
Petrol is a bit more expensive than in Spain, but diesel is cheaper. In southern parts of Morocco it's still difficult to find unleaded petrol. |
