This is a huge platform elevated on a wall. It was once used for defending the harbour area.

From here, there are some spectacular views out to sea. It's 20 metres long and constructed on a cliff above the breaking Atlantic waves. There is a collection of massive metal tubes here from the XVIII and XIX century. They're well worth a look.
