This small village maintains until today its medieval structure.

To this day, the city still maintains its immense beauty. It's medieval structure is an architectural masterpiece from the 16th century.

Originally, this building served as warehouse. It's a huge underground construction of 33 by 34 metres constructed with five rows of stone pillars. In 1916 this run down old building was restored by Orson Welles for some scenes of the film "Othello".

Seeing as you're here, you might as well visit the street Mohammed Al Hachmi Bahbah, that runs parallel to the city walls and the bastions of of the angels of San Sebastion and San Antonio. From here, there are spectacular views out to sea.
